Terms and Conditions
Version 1 · published on July 29, 2026
1. Who we are
LOCAL AT is a shop for local experiences operated by Godshot LLC. We are not a marketplace: every experience we publish is curated and run by our own team. When you book, you are contracting with us.
By booking you accept these terms and the cancellation policy of the experience you chose.
2. Booking does not require an account
There is no user registration. You book with the details you enter in the form, and everything afterwards — checking, cancelling or rescheduling — is done through the private link we email you, or by asking our support team.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you provide, especially your email address: it is the only channel through which your confirmation and your management link reach you.
3. One booking is one event
Each booking corresponds to one experience on one specific date and time. If you want two dates, those are two independent bookings, each with its own payment.
If you book for more than one person, you must enter the name and date of birth of every participant before paying.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are displayed and charged in United States dollars (USD). The price is always per person. Private group bookings may also carry a minimum amount per booking; when it applies, the checkout breakdown states it explicitly before you pay.
Payment is processed by Stripe. Your card details never pass through our servers: you hand them directly to Stripe.
If your card is issued in another currency, the conversion is performed by your bank or card issuer, not by us, and they may apply their own charges that we do not control.
A booking is only confirmed once the payment clears. Until then we do not hold your spot: seats are deducted only when payment is confirmed. If the spot is gone at that moment, the booking is not confirmed and we refund 100% of what you paid.
5. Cancellations and refunds
Every experience has its own cancellation policy, published on its page and visible before you pay. It defines what percentage you get back depending on how much time is left before the start when you cancel.
- The percentage always applies to what you actually paid, with any promo code already
deducted. Never to the list price.
- The refund runs automatically when you cancel. You do not need to request it or wait
for an approval.
- The money returns to the same payment method you used. The timing depends on your bank.
- Before you confirm the cancellation we show you the exact amount you will receive.
6. When we cancel
If we cancel an experience — because of weather, adverse conditions or any operational reason — the refund is 100% of what you paid, regardless of the experience's policy or how much time is left. Payment processor fees are absorbed by us.
7. Rescheduling
Every experience has its own rescheduling policy. If you reschedule with the notice that policy requires, there is no cost: you are moved to the new time and your booking stays confirmed.
Rescheduling into an event with a different price does not move money in either direction: the original total stands.
8. Your participation
- Arrive at the meeting point at the stated time. Times are always expressed in the time
zone of the experience.
- If you do not show up, the experience counts as delivered and there is no refund.
- We may ask you not to take part if your condition or conduct puts your safety or other
people's safety at risk. No refund applies in that case.
- Some experiences have their own requirements (physical, age, dress code). They are
published on the experience page and it is your responsibility to read them.
9. Reviews
When an experience ends we email you a private link to leave a review. It is optional and single-use. We reserve the right to remove reviews containing third parties' personal data, unlawful content or abuse.
10. Liability
We run our experiences with the reasonable care their nature demands. We are not liable for events beyond our reasonable control — weather, road closures, strikes, decisions by public authorities — beyond the refund described in section 6.
Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law grants you as a consumer and that cannot be excluded by contract.
11. Languages and the version in force
We publish these terms in six languages. If a translation is not available yet, we show you the English version.
Every booking is bound to the version of these terms that was in force when you paid. Publishing a new version does not change what you accepted: your booking is governed by the version you saw.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. Each update creates a new version with its own date and applies only to bookings made after it is published.
13. Contact
Write to info@localat.io with any question about these terms or about your booking.
