About this experience
This is not a tango show for tourists. It's a real Buenos Aires night out, the way locals live it. You start with a beginner class covering the basic steps in a San Telmo salon, then head into an authentic milonga where seasoned local dancers fill the floor. A guide who knows the scene stays with you all night, decoding the milonga's unwritten rules: the cabeceo invitation, the tandas, the cortinas.
The experience runs three and a half hours in a mixed group and includes the 45-minute opening class, milonga entry, a reserved table, your first drink and a local guide throughout the night. The pace is yours: watch from the table, step onto the floor, or both. No dance experience needed, just curiosity for the real porteño night.

Meet the group at a San Telmo salon and start with a beginner tango class on the basic steps.

Your guide explains the milonga codes: the cabeceo invitation, the tandas and the cortinas between them.

Arrive at the milonga, settle into your reserved table and toast with the first drink.

On the dance floor: watch the local milongueros, then step in and dance when you feel ready.

Close the night with your guide's tips for exploring the milonga circuit on your own.
